Idea: It would be extremely helpful if HubSpot allowed users to drag and drop attachments directly from one email or ticket activity into another email, reply, note, or forwarded message inside HubSpot. Current challenge: At the moment, when a customer sends attachments into a shared inbox or ticket, users often need to: Open the attachment Download it to their computer Save it locally Re-upload it into another HubSpot email or internal message Delete the file from their computer afterwards This creates extra admin work, slows down response times, and increases the risk of files being stored locally when they do not need to be. Use case: For warranty, customer service, and order processing teams, attachments often need to be forwarded internally or shared with another team member for review. For example, a customer may submit warranty photos, PDFs, credit applications, order forms, or proof of purchase documents. The team then needs to forward those attachments to another department or include them in a follow-up email. Being able to simply drag and drop the attachments from the original customer email into a new reply, forward, or internal email conversation tab would make the process much faster and cleaner. Requested functionality: Please allow users to: Drag attachments from an existing email activity into a new HubSpot email, reply, forward, or internal note Reuse attachments already stored on the ticket or contact record without downloading them first Easily forward customer-submitted attachments to internal teams who may not have HubSpot access Keep the attachment handling process fully inside HubSpot Business benefit: This would save time for customer service teams, reduce manual steps, improve ticket handling efficiency, and reduce unnecessary local file downloads. It would be especially valuable for teams handling high volumes of warranty claims, order documents, service requests, and finance handoffs. This would make HubSpot Help Desk and shared inbox workflows much more efficient for teams that regularly work with customer-submitted documents and images.
