Looking for a way to limit who on my team can connect hubspot to a personal email. I need to strictly limit connections to select people. This could be either through permissions or by getting an alert when someone wants to connect - either solution would be fine. Checked with HubSpot customer support and it seems there isn't curently a solution for this.    The concern is that some of our employees may have email with sensitive data and I want to eliminate the possibility of them connecting.   This is a significant hurdle for our adoption of sales hub so if anybody has ideas I'd love to hear them.    Thanks! ...read more

Use Case: HubSpot Gmail extension logs out for various reasons (e.g., Chrome updates, new Chrome browser sign-in, laptop restart, switching between Gmail accounts or HubSpot accounts, etc.). I then log back into my Gmail account but forget to log back into the HubSpot Gmail extension. I am now actively sending emails, but HubSpot does not track these emails. Unless I receive a response to the email I have sent, there is no simple way of adding the email to a contact's activity log. The only hack available is to log a manual email to the contact activities. This is time-consuming and has limitations:   Only the content of the email can be easily copied/pasted into the manual email log - the email date and time have to be entered manually. For emails with multiple contacts, the contact names need to be added to the log individually, which requires searching the "Contacted" input field by typing email addresses. This is especially cumbersome when the email gets delivered to multiple organizations. The email log can't be linked to the Gmail thread unless the contact responds. Even if the contact does respond,  the originally sent email content is not captured in the response, meaning the manual email log cannot be merged with the tracked thread.    There is a community thread for the issue  "Log an email after it is sent"  that suggested the Manual Logging Section supplement BCC or FWD; however, the "accepted solution" does not address the issue (it only fixes FWD or BCC items). Can you add a third email address option to the Manual Logging Section to supplement BCC or FWD? I want to set up sequencing to automate follow-up pings to sales qualified leads that have not responded. In this case, an initial quotation e-mail has been sent and this is stored in the CRM system on the contact (using the BCC address). The email also has attachments. I want the sequence to reply to the last e-mail and continue to engage the potential client until we have a response, then we can continue manually. It is important that the context is included from the earlier mail with the first mail of the sequence, and any subsequent sequence mails. (i.e, the attachments for the first e-mail, the email thread, and the RE:<email subject> should also be included. When tracking is enabled, it seems that links are redirected through a non-HTTPS site. This will cause the latest version of Google Chrome to block download links through email with tracking enabled. This may happen with live chat too, I am not sure.   Our customers are not able to download files from us if they are using Google Chrome and it's causing issues for us.   I am hoping that HubSpot can create a fix for this and redirect links through a secure site.     ...read more

It is very unusual to address each other by the last name in our branch. The first name is perfectly sufficient. Therefore I would like to change the "from" value of Sales Emails and, instead of "First Name Last Name", use "First Name @ Company Name". Many people want to start using Hubspot with their entire company's email history associated with the correct Hubspot Contact/Company, and visible to all Hubspot Users.   For many companies, historical email history is the *single* most important record of the interaction you and your colleagues have had with your customers and prospects.   This is a vital and common feature to other CRM's, like Close, Pipedrive, Zoho, SalesforceIQ, FreshSales...the list goes on.   The current solution that Hubspot offers is NOT effective. We need the import of emails to be A) automatic, and B) historical (including before we started using Hubspot). Logging, bcc, shared inboxes, etc., do not cut the mustard.   There are third-party companies that offer this, such as Threads, & MigrateMyCRM, but we all want a native Hubspot solution. We need this option! Unless we send from Gmail, we cannot "unsend" from Hubspot. Using HubSpot to send emails is a better option for me and I need a way to "unsend" from the platform.  ...read more

Under the email settings tab: Please make it an option to remove specific emails (HubSpot user email addresses) from the dropdown option from address. ...read more

Emails deleted / moved to trash in Hubspot do not notify further replies to that email.  The email remains in the Trash folder, so if not monitored you could miss email responses.   Re-opening the responded to email back to the inbox would be beneficial (similar to how closed conversations work). ...read more
