We are receiving feedback from customers, particularly those with complex sales processes migrating to the Commerce Hub and CPQ—that a critical feature gap is preventing their full adoption: the inability to use custom-coded quote templates.   These customers previously relied on the legacy Quote tool to implement highly specific functionality (HubL logic, custom modules, complex styling) necessary for legal compliance, specific branding, and operational efficiency.   The current CPQ quote builder does not offer the developer access needed to replicate these essential documents. As a result, the following critical migration issues exist:   No Migration Path: Custom templates built in the legacy tool cannot be transferred or used in the new CPQ flow.   Missing Functionality: There is currently no way to edit the CPQ quote template code or incorporate custom modules for advanced features and branding consistency.   This forces customers to choose between utilizing the new CPQ features and maintaining the integrity and compliance of their final sales documents, often leading them to postpone migration or benefiting from new Commerce Hub tools.  Related Discussion How to edit CPQ quote templates at the code level? ...read more

Desired capability Add a per-user navigation visibility setting for the new left sidebar that allows admins to hide or show: • Top-level sections (e.g., Marketing, Service, Commerce, Data Management) • Sub-sections within each section This should be configurable per user (ideally also via team templates), independent of permissions. Goal Give each role a clean, role-based workspace (e.g., only CRM + Tasks), improving adoption and reducing mistakes. Use case We have users who only need CRM + Tasks. Even when they have no permissions for other hubs, they still see those sections in the left nav. They click into them and hit blockers, dead ends, or “no access” screens—creating constant friction. Today, menu visibility is primarily permission-driven and does not fully solve this UI problem.     Impact / pain points • User confusion (“Why do I see Marketing/Service if I can’t use them?”) • Extra training + support overhead for basic navigation • Lower adoption for non-admin roles (HubSpot feels “too complex”) • More misclicks + wasted time navigating to areas they’ll never use • Risk of user error (users exploring the wrong areas, creating noise) • Hard to scale onboarding when each role needs a different, simplified UI Workaround today There are no current work arounds at this time that we know of. Hi there,    As a HubSpot user, I would like to analyse forms and their submission in the custom report builder. This was already possible in beta, but was unfortunately removed again upon release. Unfortunately, @JoeMayall's  solution to this only works to a limited extent for our use case: "The best place to analyze form submissions is in the Form Analytics page (Analytics Tools > Forms)" What we need:   Filter submissions (e.g. by lifecyclestage of the contact) Further data on submissions (e.g. on which website took it place). Further options for graphical representation. Currently there are only Area, Column and Line. Drill down from the report to the individual contact. Similar to almost all existing reports, a table should open when the report is interacted with. At present, the report only links to the form. And most importantly: A report that depends on the exact time of the submission. First and recent conversion are too imprecise for this.   ...read more

We've joined the Projects (object) beta and are experimenting with migrating projects over from the existing Projects space. One element of the existing Projects space we use frequently is Project templates. Currently, when a Project (object) is cloned, it does not clone the associated tasks. Will the ability to create templates be available with Projects (objects)? I'm trying to avoid creating workflows to create the tasks. ...read more

We currently have custom properties for contacts, deals, companies and tickets. We need custom properties for activities too, which means custom properties for task, meetings, calls, etc.   Examples:  - Calls: Aircall has to "print" text into the description for the call output - Meetings: we want to confirm them 2 times. We can record in a structured way whether the meeting has been confirmed. - Tasks: we'd like to have importance and urgency as inputs to define priority. Unbounce HubSpot User option for HubSpot Admins to self-serve instead of contacting HubSpot Support.   I have made this request before every time I have a support ticket- but giving the ability to unbounce users for HubSpot Admins to self-serve and unbounce users in HubSpot would be more efficient. This has a lot of wasted time working on these by asking our internal networking team to check if emails were blocked before hubspot support will check if an email was "bounced". I need to be more strategic with my time and give our hubspot users back in more efficiently. Also, I have had this happen to many hubspot users who are active everyday, so them becoming bounced at somepoint makes no sense and wasted time for them and me. ...read more
