Hi all,
I am using the free hubspot tools.
I don’t know what happened but this morning two properties (I don’t know if more) of my contacts disappeared even if I’ve not deleted nor archived them. The list of archived properties is empty.
Then I tried to add a new property with the same name of one of the old ones and the same options, but when I clicked on the link “show property”, on the popup showed after clicking on “create”, the field “Name” was empty, and the number of contacts with a value for the property was 0. Exiting the property sheet and searching for the name the search result was empty.
I tried again to create the property with the same name and it failed with an error message: “a prolem occurred during the creation of this property, try again or refresh the page”.
Whant happened?
How do I restore those two disappeared properties?

Hello @s-stringa , thank you for providing this information. Have you tried to clear your cache to see if you are still receiving this error. Do you remember what was the exactly name under the properties? I can check in our end to see more information about it. The more information, screenshots, and details you can provide, the better I can advise on the next steps.

Hi @PamCotton have you been able to check in your end to see if there are more information?
The properties are still not showed both into the contact record and into the property settings, therefore we cannot give them any value for new contacts and cannot edit/delete them in case of need, but are showed both in the columns list and in the filters.
I think I found in these days the cause of the problem: the assignement of these property to a specific group (probabply created by me or by the connection of hubspot with woocommerce, but I don’t remember).
I tried to:
- create another Contact property with a similar name belonging to another group → it worked as expected;
- then I changed the name to match perfectly one of the disappeared properties → it worked as expected
- finally I changed the group using the same group of the disappeared properties (named “Product information”) and the property disappeared!
Unfortunately I cannot fix it because I cannot modify the properties in order to associate them to another group. I don’t want to delete them since there are some contacts with values for those properties.
Moreover after trying to see if the problem occurs also with other groups (created a property and added it to vorious groups) and to see if changing the name of the group could solve, I got even worst error and now I cannot access anymore to the property settings, see the picture below (the problem still remains also after refreshing and logging in again):
Have you got any suggestion?

LITTLE UPDATE: after the problem showed into the image occurred the properties under that group completely disappeared also from column list and filters, seems that all my data stored in those property are lost 
… I was trying to export them in order not to loose them but, too late…
Hello @s-stringa, thank you for providing this extra information. Are you the superadmin or just have permission to access some of the properties? Is there another user that is able to see that is in that group? I will continue to investigate more about it.

Yes I am the superadmin.
The problem has been experienced by all the users if you mean this.
Unfortunately now nobody can access the contact properties settings nor property groups since the page has crashed (I opened another post, may be the two problems are related).
Anyway the disappeared properties are still present in the exports therefore they are somewhere.

I didn’t try to clear the cash but I found another strange thing that is related to the current issue. On the contacts page when I try to rearrange the columns I can find the two properties and I can also see the third one created yesterdey.
The names of the properties are: “Prodotti acquistati” and “Prodotti richiesti”.
What is happening is that they cannot be found among the properties both in the settings and in the “View all properties” on the contact record, but they can be found (and shown) on the columns list of the contacts page.
Here attached the two screenshots. In the second you can see two properties with the same name: this is the one I tried to add yesterdey in order to restore the one that seemed lost.
