On last friday (16th September) while tryng to understand better another problem [*], I changed the name of one group of properties saved it and then, after checking the porperty settings page, restored it to the original (the group name was Product information). After restoring this name I tried to go back to the property settings page but it crashed, see attached image:
I refreshed the page, and nothing changed, I log in again but nothing changed. All the users get the same error.
The page is in this conditions since friday: property settings cannot be accessed anymore and this is a huge problem: hubspot became more or less a database of contacts, tickets are useless because I can’t define properties useful for our needs the same for deals…
Could anyone give me some help?
Thanks in advance,
Simona.

[*] The first problem was that two contact properties saved on a specific group disappeared last june both from the property settings page and from the contact record but were still visible within the filters and columns of all contacts list. I opened another topic for that.
Hi @s-stringa Have you tried accessing the properties from a different path? Instead of going through settings, go to Contacts and click Edit Properties from the Action menu.
If this doesn’t shake the error loose, it is probably something that can’t be fixed without HubSpot Support - you could enter a trial for one of the Hubs to gain access to support while you need to resolve the issue.
Thank you @Jnix284 I really appreciate your quick answer and suggestion. It led me to see that only the contacts property settings page is broken: I tried to access from contacts and I get the error, but I also tried to access the property settings from companies and I could reach the page then if I select ticket or deals or other properties the correponding page is correctly shown but when selecting contact properties I get again the error page.
Hi @s-stringa you’re welcome, I’m glad we could narrow down the issue a little bit!
I honestly don’t think it is possible to troubleshoot this any further, there is a technical issue that would require the help of HubSpot.
@kvlschaefer what do you recommend in this situation? @s-stringa has a free account, but the issue is not something that can be fixed without help of HubSpot Support.
It sounds like the properties issue you previously reported could be related to this one. I want to ask some clarifying questions so we can start looking into this for you:
1. Can you provide us with a video (it can be a Loom or from another video recording software) of this behavior in your account?
2. Do you recall if the Product Information property group was created by HubSpot, one of your users, or an integration?
Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you!
For sure the property group was not a default Hubspot group but I can’t remember if it was created by me or by an integration because it is a long time that the group is there. Since I have had the doubt that WooCommerce by MakeWebBetter integration (that was not used) could be related to my problem, I deleted it but apparently nothing changed.
Hi @kvlschaefer thank you very much for your assistance. I confirm that now I can access again the contacts property setting and that the two missed properties reappeared .
Do you think it is better to move these two properties to a hubspot default property group instead of this custom created group?
Hi @kvlschaefer yes the two properties were created by a user (me); but I’ve just moved them to a default hubspot group since I were not able to see them within the customisation of the left bar of the contact records. Now everithing is ok.
I would like to delete all the user defined property groups that are not used, but I am a bit worried that this could cause another crash…
