Turning off unenrollment trigger for Email Reply

I lead a field sales team and the first step in our process after talking with a prospect is enrolling them in a sequence and having them respond to our email while we’re in their office to ensure that all future emails we send them end up in their inbox rather than spam or junk folders, which we’ve had a ton of emails land there in the past using Hubspot sequences and the less responses we get, the lower our email sender score gets, the higher the likelihood that future emails end up in spam/junk and automatically filtered out of a potential customers inbox to never be seen again.

We need the ability to turn off this feature because of this.

Can Hubspot make 1 off exceptions to this? And is it in the roadmap to change this? I know when I used to use Outreach this was a feature we had full control over and it’s unnecessary work if the only work around is creating another sequence that we’ll have to enroll potential customers in after they respond.

Hi @WHonda,

I agree, however I’m not aware of any ongoing request or product update about this. The best place for these kinds of requests is the HubSpot Ideas section: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/idb-p/HubSpot_Ideas

The product team reviews these requests based on their popularity. There are already similar requests (https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Sequences-Custom-Unenrollment-Actions/idi-p/300221), but they’re not exactly about what you’re trying to accomplish.

Best regards!

This has been discussed here https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Remove-the-quot-Unenroll-contacts-from-sequence-if-they-reply-to/idi-p/508849, where as usual it has been ignored by anyone from hubspot for several years despite frequent upvotes
