Remove the "Unenroll contacts from sequence if they reply to email"

The setting in the Automation section of sequences to unenroll contacts if they reply to an email is a far reaching setting. Especially when it can't be undone. If I have someone enrolled in a sequence for a free trial to receive daily tips & tricks, and they respond, "thank you for the info," they just un-enrolled themselves from the rest of the helpful sequence. 

 

Why would Hubspot make this a universal "always on" type of setting?

I 100% agree and am having the same problem! Would love to be able to undo this trigger setting.

Yes having this trigger enforced for all sequences limits so many use cases.  Removing it would be a great idea.

100%, unrolling loses all personalisation. Should be able to toggle off.

we're having this issue too, would love to be able to disable the automatic unenroll feature for someone in a sequence if they reply

Because of the flaw where a response unenrolls someone from a sequence, I now have to add MailChimp to my tech stack. I am paying a pretty penny for Hubspot Service Professional and would like it to handle our service email needs.

Bumping this up -- this is a weird quirk of hubspot settings, and it's odd that we can't just turn it off.

We have this issue too - we use sequences to remind clients of some actions they need to take. Would love to be able to disable the unenroll feature.

We use it for educational emails as well. I want it to run step after step without being unrolled for any reason.

I would love to be able to toggle this setting on and off too, I'm also looking to use sequences for educational emails.

I would also love to be able to toggle this on and off. Just because someone responds to an email does not mean they should be removed from the sequence entirely - in fact, we lose the connection between meetings booked and the particular sequence because the person is removed before they get to that step.

Also upvoting to have the option to turn this funcationality off. 

 

It makes about as much sense as sequences 'from' email address being the hubspot user, which really makes absolutely no sense!!!!
