Domain issues

A quick backstory I created a website with my domain. I did not like it at all so I decided to delete my account and start fresh.

I came back and had to set it again using the same email address and same domain name but it seems it created a new domain name as shown below.

Move the domain

I want this content but just switch the domain

So I am really confused about what to do as it seems my account is holding on to the 2 domains. Since I bought my domain on Namecheap I tried to ask them what to do which led me to delete the A records and have the below: The CName, URL redirect and 2 TXT records but no A records.

I decided to continue creating the website but I soon ran into an issue that the website already existed.

I am extremely peeved and frustrated what do I do? Do I just form a new email etc and start again?

Hi @Osheilla,

First you will need to go to Settings > Content > Blog and add “blog” to the slug. This will make your blog load on www.catalystmarketinglab.com/blog

Then you need to go to edit your homepage and make sure no language is selected in the settings:

Lastly, clear out anything in the “slug” of the homepage (if anything is present)

Once that is done, hit the orange “Update” button and you should be all set.

@Osheilla in addition to the steps outlined by @evaldas, you’ll need to check your domain language settings if the en-us is not coming from the individual page (not likely unless you set it there). Settings > Content > Domains & URLs > Language tab and turn off “Use prefix in slug” as shown here:

Also please upvote this idea to avoid this for others in the future!
