But I believe the owner of that email address have deleted his account on hubspot so the website domain (www.xmc.us.kg) is not longer accessable. But now i have a new account tryna link to that domain but It said domain have been linked by another HubSpot customer, Is there anyway to solve that issues?

Hey @MCJeffrey - thanks for posting in the Community!
I’d like to clarify this inquiry to ensure we get you the best support possible. Are you saying that you believe this may be occurring because the email address mcjeffrey481@gmail.com has been deleted? If so, I’d like to point out that an email address shouldn’t have any influence over whether or not you can associate a domain with a HubSpot portal. Based on what I understand of the error, the domain itself, www.xmc.us.kg, sounds like it’s already been connected to another HubSpot portal. Can you confirm that you are the owner of this domain and that you’ve never personally connected it to another HubSpot portal?

Hello,
So Basically, I have linked this domain (www.xmc.us.kg) to a HuBspot account before which is “MCJEFFREY481@GMAIL.COM” but i have deleted the account. But i regester back on the “MCJEFFREY481@GMAIL.COM” to link a another domain (www.JYStudio.qzz.io) Which i have not done the verifcation process yet. But when i tried to reregister the domain (www.xmc.us.kg) on my other account, It said have been register. I have unlink (www.xmc.us.kg) on cloudflare.

Hey @MCJeffrey
This is a common issue when domains get “orphaned” after an account deletion. Even though you deleted your old HubSpot account, the domain claim doesnt automatically release. HubSpot’s system still has a record that www.xmc.us.kg was connected to a portal, and it blocks other portals from claiming it.

Unlinking the domain on Cloudflare doesnt help here because the claim lives on HubSpot’s side, not your DNS provider’s side. The DNS records and the HubSpot domain claim are separate things.

The only way to resolve this is to contact HubSpot Support directly. You’ll need to:

  1. Prove you own the domain (usually by adding a specific TXT record they’ll provide, or showing your domain registrar account)
  2. Ask them to release the domain claim from the old deleted portal

You can reach support through Help > Contact Support in your HubSpot account, or if you’re on a free tier, through the community support channels. Explain that you previously connected this domain to an account you’ve since deleted, and you need the domain released so you can connect it to your new portal.

Make sure you mention both the old email (mcjeffrey481@gmail.com) and the new account (x_mc@gmx.com) so they can verify everything on their end.

This should be a straightforward fix once support gets involved, they handle these domain release requests pretty regularly. At Stacksync we’ve seen customers run into similar orphaned resource issues when migrating between HubSpot accounts, its just one of those platform quirks. Hope you get it sorted quickly!
