Deleting and email

My main email is tied to a Hubspot account that I am no longer affiliated with, nor do I have access to. I seem to be getting the runaround with this. I own the domain and it is tied to all of the apps that I want to add to the account. How can I go about getting it deleted from their account so that I can set up my own. Yes I have asked them to as well- but I can not count on that.

Hey @ceowr , I understand the frustration.
If your email is still tied to an old HubSpot account, the only way to free it up is for that account’s super admin to either remove your user or delete the account. Since you don’t control it anymore, you can’t reclaim the email directly.

What you can do:

Ask the current account owner (again) to remove your email in Settings > Users & Teams. Once removed, the email becomes available for you to use in a fresh HubSpot account.

If they’re unresponsive and you truly own the email domain, open a ticket with HubSpot Support. For Starter or higher plans you can do this inside the portal. For Free plans, you’ll need to use the Help button in the Community or the Support form. Provide proof of domain ownership (DNS TXT record or email verification).

HubSpot Support is usually strict here because of security. They won’t release an email without clear proof that you own the address/domain. A workaround in the meantime is to sign up with another alias at your domain (for example, ceowr+hubspot@yourdomain.com) until the main one gets freed.

Just a small reminder: per Community Guidelines, keep personal account details private. If you need to share logs or sensitive info, best to do it directly with Support, not here.

Hope this helps.
