Automate Ticket ID

The Ticket ID property should be able to be edited/updated to have a client’s specific ID.

Instead of the random numbered Ticket ID HubSpot comes up with, it would be good if we can instead edit it to our own ID e.g. E1234.

If it could still be automated it would be: E1234, then the next automated Ticket ID would be E1235.

I agree.. It’s mandatory for as an alphanumeric field were we can edit the first part and the last is sequential number. Considering the functionallity of customizing the initial number when setting up this field.

We need the ability to add a sequential number code for all properties, where you can define a prefix and then set how many numbers you want after the prefix and have that as a sequential increase.

I’d also like the option for a prefix to be generated from a logic number, like year, etc. And to have multiple prefixes, etc.

For example:

Deal Reference could have YEAR prefix and then 4 numbers to create: 2023-0001, 2023-0002, 2023-0003, etc. Or prefix = DEAL; suffix is 3 numbers: DEAL001, DEAL002, DEAL003.

Custom Object (like service visit) could have Prefix: SV- followed by Year, followed by 3 numbers. For example:

SV-2023-001, SV-2023-002, etc.

This is essential. If SFDC can do this out the box, how on earth can this not exist for all Hubs at all levels within HubSpot???
