Task types

In the hubspot crm is it possible to create more Task Types?

Currently there are only three choices for Call - Email - To Do.

Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to create custom task types in the CRM.

There's a suggestion thread under HubSpot Ideas to implement custom Task and Log Activity types. Please go there and upvote the original post. Maybe enough responses will get HubSpot's product team to put this change into their task queue.

Has there been an update yet?

All of the queries for customizing task types are old. 
We would like to add more task types outside of "Call" "Email" and "To-do"

Somehow we have additional ones from a LinkedIn Sales Navigator integration, "Sales Navigator - Connection Request" and "Sales Navigator - Inmail"
Are there other integrations that create task types?

Hubspot team, can you at least acknowledge this request. It is one of the most basic (yet critical) for easy entry of common task types and makes it easier for KPI/Progress tracking/ Activity Review with Sales team.
Pipedrive listens and acts on information, they have responded to several of my requests within 180 days (longest time frame). I feel like I am part of the developer team and that is awesome to affect positive change. Hope you folks can at least act on this one.

@Andye why limit yourself to task type? Use queues to create lists of items you want to accomplish.

We would also like customisable task types. It's one of the only ways to filter tasks so having more options would be great.

Would it be possible to get anyone from HS to provide any details. This seems trival considering the power of HS and all the other things you can customize.

I think adding custom fields, like Hours - for billing purposes would be very helpful to our team.

I agree, for instance if you have multiple locations or projects to sort tasks for each would be more helpful.
