when i give one of my team members a task permission for edit tasks he owns, now he can assign task for others and if i don’t give him permission he can’t mark his task as completed !! is this a bug or there is something wrong i shouldn’t do

It sounds like you’re experiencing an unexpected behavior. To resolve this, please check the edit permission settings for your team member. Ensure that the permission is set to “Tasks they own.”
Here’s how you can verify this:
Go to the permissions settings.
Under the “Tasks” section, make sure “Edit” is set to “Tasks they own.”
If you give them edit permission for the tasks they own, they will be able to mark their tasks as complete.

To clarify, users with the “Task They Own” permission can create and assign tasks to others. However, once the task is assigned to another user, they will no longer have the ability to edit it since it is no longer under their ownership. They can only edit tasks they currently own.
For users with “View Only” permission, they won’t be able to make any changes to the task at all. This includes editing task details or marking the task as complete.
