We’re currently facing an issue where salespeople bulk complete/delete tasks that are assigned to them. Which we want them not to.
Is there a way to restrict the bulk actions from certain users?
Is does not help that there’s no way of knowing if the tasks have been deleted as well.
are deleted records still available in DB?

There is a specific for bulk deletion, yes, but not for bulk editing:
Should users bulk complete tasks, that’s something you can check via reports or by filtering the task index page – in both cases, you would filter for task status completed:
In a custom report, you could visualize the count of activities by owner and filter the report for task status completed and activity type task.

That Bulk delete permission does not work for Tasks. Which is a issue itself. Now there’s no way of restricting users from bulk deleting tasks.
@AAdmin7 you could flag this with HubSpot support and request that the permissions should cover tasks as well.
