Reporting on Goals

It would be great to report on goals in Reports and dashboards, just like any other object.

My use case is to add the team Quarterly goal to my Deals report, which is a pretty common use case for most sales leaders.

Hi @Rich_Tank is there anything specific that the out of the box goal reporting in reports doesn’t allow you to achieve the reports you’re looking for?

Yes It is possible to report on your goals just like any other object

You can create personalized reports tailored to the specific goal you wish to evaluate.

The HubSpot’s goal tool targets deals catering to both individuals and teams. Moreover, you can define monthly or Quarterly objectives for particular reports, providing a comprehensive overview of your overall business performance tracking.

Based on your subscription level you can either create a standard report or a custom report.

This is an old post, it is now possible with the recent updates to Goals. I’m glad the awesome HubSpot PM’s look at the ideas forum!

Thanks both for replying.

It’s this limitation that is the restriction;
“You can add sales goals to a report by adjusting the Display options in the report builder. The report must be a single-object deal report that includes a date property. The report must also use the Line or Area chart type.”

My specific use case is to add sales goals as a column in a report table or piviot table, which would be possible if it was reportable object.

I believe @Rich_Tank wants, and I definitely want, the sales Goals to appear on our regular Dashboards, not another location in HubSpot (Goals). Many of my Users are not Salespeople and go specific Dashboards for information.

Hubspot goal reporting is super under developed. For instans i can create goals for won deals per deal type BUT i cannot report based on this. It will always sum up the amounts since the deals are sold in same pipeline. Same goes with meeting and call types. For some reason i can view “reporting” on these behind individual goal and it offers me to “safe report” but nothing happens. Pleeaassee, update this feature.

This should be developed! For instans if i would like to report activity goals based on activity type - not possible (based on hubspot support and huge amount of testing).
