Remove “Edit this form” button when creating a record on a object form

Hi team!

I’m currently working with a custom object in HubSpot and using a form layout to create new records. However, I’ve noticed that the “Edit this form” button appears at the top right corner for users and I’d like to remove or hide this option from them.

I’ve already tried adjusting user permissions by restricting access to property editing and custom object settings, but the button still appears for some users.

Does anyone know:

• What specific permission is tied to the visibility of the “Edit this form” option?
• Is there a way to hide this button for non-admin users or restrict it via roles?

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

This would be ‘Account’ permissions, see first paragraph here: Customize the create form for each object

The following user doesn’t have the Account permission, but the “Edit this form” option is still visible for them. Would you happen to have any other suggestions?

@EApostolidis it appears that you’re experiencing something that, at least per the documentation, you should not. I would consider this a bug then and recommend reaching out to HubSpot support directly, in-app via email or chat.
