I have a report that is scheduled to be sent to management every week. In the scheduled report Hubspot allows me to include an email body, but it doesn’t allow me to put in paragraphs into the email! Whatever I type will come into one single jumbled paragraph instead of :
“Dear XXX,
Here is the weekly report.
Please also refer to [website] for source data.
best regards,
XXX” that I intend to.

I wanted to test this on my end but for some reason, dashboard / report emails are currently not coming through. One thing you could test if HubSpot reads HTML line breaks <br> correctly in an email just to yourself.
If not, then I’d recommend flagging this with HubSpot support in-app via chat or email to confirm whether this is expected behavior or not. If they say it isn’t, the product team might fix this short term. If it is, the support rep might recommend you submit a feature request here: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/idb-p/HubSpot_Ideas

Thanks for the reply! I sent a random report to myself (non-recuring) with the following email body:
“<p>This is the first line.<br> This is the second line.</p>”
And I got “<p>This is the first line.<br> This is the second line.</p>”, so I can confirm that HTML code doesn’t really work when sending the reply -- or am I using it wrong?
@Henrika no, it simply means that HubSpot does not accept rich text formatting / HTML here. In that case, as I mentioned in my previous reply, you’re best route is HubSpot support.
