Reaching Email Limit

Hey,
I read a lot of different post in here about the topic “Reaching Your Email Limit” and im still not sure was to do. One of my sales persons have this issue and says that he isn´t even close to reach the sending limit.
I also checked Marketing Hub Professional - Marketing Contacts:
51 of 120,000 emails sent, 6,520 of 12,000 contacts used.

I could really use some help and maybe a guide to what to do or check.
Thanks everyone.

Hi @NT_,

There is a difference between marketing emails and sales emails. The numbers you looked up (51 of 120,000 emails etc) are for marketing emails.

For sales emails, there are different limits: Sending limits for connected email accounts

Regarding your question on what to do: review the limits and stay below them. There isn’t any way to bypass them.

You might also want to look into this, as rules for bulk email sends get a lot stricter in 2024:

Best regards!

Thanks for the quick anwser Karsten Köhler.
I´m pretty new at this, so i don´t know how to review the limits and therefore dont know how we in the future stay below them.
Is it possible that you can guide me though it? :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @NT_,

While you can track sent emails per user in HubSpot, I’d recommend checking with your IT or the administrators of your email infrastructure. Google Workspace and Office 365 have options to monitor volume of outgoing emails, for example.

Besides that, it comes down to sales reps being aware of these limits and simply keeping track of how many emails they send per day.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!

Thanks, i will try that.
Really nice with the quick anwser.

Hi @NT_

Just adding to @karstenkoehler’s point, in what context are you seeing that error message?

Is the sales rep sending email or enrolling a contact into a sequence?

In a sales context, your provider would not be HubSpot but the provider of your business email - Gmail, Office365, etc. So I would check there for possible email send limits.
