Hello HubSpot Support, I have disconnected a domain from my HuSpot account and updated my nameservers with my domain provider. However, I am still receiving a cloudflare Error 1001. It appears the domain is still stuck in your cloudflare for SaaS / custom hostname configuration. How can I get support from HubSpot to remove /de-provision my domain from cloudflare infrastucutre manually so I can use it with my new host. Thank you
Hi @PRuf and welcome, we are so glad to have you here!
Thanks for reaching out to the HubSpot Community!
Once you disconnect a domain in HubSpot and remove any DNS records (such as our CNAME or A records) that point to HubSpot, HubSpot and our Cloudflare setup will no longer be involved with your domain.
If you’re seeing a Cloudflare Error 1001 after updating your nameservers, this usually means there’s something in the Cloudflare setup of your new host, or possibly your own Cloudflare account, that needs adjustment. Rest assured, this error isn’t coming from HubSpot.
Can you confirm that in HubSpot the domain is fully removed? The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.
Also, could the domain be still attached to another HubSpot account?
I’d love to put you in touch with our Top Experts: Hi @trevordjones, @TomM2 and @Jigar_Thakker do you have suggestions to help @PRuf, please?
Thanks so much and have a lovely day!

Hi BérangèreL, thank you for your answer.
I can confirm that the domainis fully removed (see attachement) from HubSpot. The domain is definitely not connected to another HubSpot account either.
My new host uses also cloudflare and it seems to me that something is stuck here (I am not an expert). So far I have not received a reply from the service team of my new host, I am waiting for their answer. I am greateful for any solution you guys can think of.
Thanks
problem is solved, the new host could issue a new SSL certificate and it worked again. thanks for the support

I’m glad to hear everything is working smoothly again after the new SSL certificate was issued.
