I’ve been trying to create a deployment for an app that I just built and then I get this error instead.
```
Couldn’t create this app because you’ve reached your public app limit for this account. You can create up to 0 public apps in a single developer account. Please delete an app before creating another.
```
could this be a configuration issue with how I configured my application?
Hey @KObeng-Yeboah,
Thanks for posting in the Community!
We’ve had other users report this issue today, so I’m going to cross-reference our internal teams to see if there’s any type of issue they’re aware of and working on. I will be sure to follow up once I have some insight to share!

Hi! I have the same issue. I registered for a developer account > Created the app > Then when I try deploy it gives me the below:
[ERROR] Couldn’t create this app because you’ve reached your public app limit for this account. You can create up to 0 public apps in a single developer account. Please delete an app before creating another.
Is it because I’m using a free Hubspot account?
Hey @KObeng-Yeboah and @JBotha1,
Here is the context provided by our internal team after looking into this error:
The issue you’re running seems tied to a temporary security restriction HubSpot put in place following a recent security incident. Developer accounts created after March 11th, 2026 are currently unable to create or fully configure public apps. The team expects to lift this restriction within the next day or two. You can track updates here: HubSpot Trust Center | Powered by Conveyor
We appreciate your patience on this!
