Message Templates

Hello, I am a hubspot newbie, and have the hubspot starter pack subscription. I was working very well with email/message templates and contacting my leads using these templates. I got off hubspot for a month but resubscribed. I switched to the new theme and now I cannot add any new templates. Cannot even see it in search. I can access it when I try to send an email, but cannot add any new ones. I am being told I have a 5 template limit on the hubspot starter pack, but I already have 34 stored. Anyone has any insight on this?

Hi @WBend,
A couple things to check:

  • Are you sure you are on Starter and not Free? Starter should give you 5K templates, 3 on Free

  • Check to see that you are logged into the correct account. Potentially you had starter but when you signed back up, it was a different account and that is now a free account. This would limit the number of templates.
  • Confirm you’re looking in the right spot. Templates live under the CRM tab currently labeled as message templates. The new nav can be confusing.

If you are sure you are in the right account and it’s starter. Trying logging out, clearing cache/cookies, etc. If you are still having trouble, there’s some sort of other account issue going on.
