Is there a way to categorize contacts in Hubspot as ‘personal’, and/or remove access to personal contacts by other Hubspot users? I have uploaded all of my contacts from Outlook which includes all my personal contacts and I would like to keep them seperate.

Yes and no. There are contact access permissions, which can be set up by an admin in your HubSpot portal in the user permissions: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/settings/edit-user-permissions
In those permissions, it’s possible to restrict the access of users to contacts – users can either see all contacts, contacts owned by their team, contact owned by them or none.
That would mean, that an admin would have to set contact access to “owned only” for all users for your contacts to be semi-private. (A super admin would still be able to see your contacts.) So in that sense, this is not actually possible. There isn’t a “mark private, show only to me” button.
