We would like to make individual contacts in our HubSpot CRM visible only to certain employees. Since each of our employees can have sensitive contacts, we unfortunately cannot solve this via the group authorization. We would prefer to have the option for each of our employees to mark directly in the contact record if only they are allowed to see the contact. Has anyone had a similar case and found a good solution?

Contacts can only made private through user permissions and contact ownership: HubSpot user permissions guide
It’s not possible to make contacts ‘private’ on a contact record level. In the current HubSpot landscape, that would raise the question ‘private for whom?’ – that’s what the permissions above are designed to answer.
I’m not aware of any workarounds to the standard permissions.
