Is it possible to hide individual contacts from view so that only the HubSpot owner and super admin can see them?

That is indeede possible. To do so, an Account Administrator will need to set the viewing permissions of individual users as follows:
1. Navigate to Settings > Users & Teams
2. Click ‘Contacts’ > ‘View’ and select ‘Owned Only’ or ‘Unassigned’

I have read through all the instructions but can’t see how I assign specific contacts to a specific HubSpot owner or team?
If I create TEAM 1 I’d like that team to be able to view/access their team’s contacts only.
For exmapleTEAM 1 should not be able to view/access TEAM 2’s contacts and vice versa.
Is this possible? And if so, how do I do this?

I have the same issue and I don’t think this is possible.
If I want our CEO to have his own contacts who nobody else sees, it isn’t possible.
The answer was pretty bad, to be honest.
THis is different from what the person is asking. JAM was essentially asking what I’d like to do as well. Make specific contacts private. That’s different from allowing users to only see what’s assigned to them. That’s way more restrictive that what I need. Thanks.
Definitely correct, if there’s a downvote button I’d do that.
There is a loophole in Hubspot. Even if you limit someone’s view of contacts they still can see other’s contacts if they go through companies and look at associated contacts.
@hubspot team please check for this.
