I’d like to create a list of our contacts that have at least one additional email. I can’t find a relevant field to use as a filter in creating a list of such contacts. Similarly, when creating a list of all contacts, I can’t find a field to include in the list that will show a contact’s additional email addresses, if any. It would be nice if “additional emails” was more usable in list creation.
Per this question/answer, I was able to export the list of all contacts and include the additional emails, so getting this data is possible without the List functions, but it is perhaps a bit inconvenient.
Secondary emails need more functionality in general. Being able to identify contacts with them in lists would be extremely helpful. This is especially important since one email may unsubscribe or bounce, while another does not.
Yes, this seems like such an easy filter to add! I would like an active list so that if a contact bounces, I can try to email their other email address.
I really need this since we have over 4,000 of additional emails and most of them are attributed to the incorrect person. I need a way to globally delete them all and then re-import into their own records.
Hi everyone! My name is Hallie and I’m a Program Manager on the CXM team. I wanted to share that this isn’t on the roadmap yet, but it something on our product team’s radar. Implementing use of the additional emails as a property or filter would be a bigger lift to ensure there are no unintended side effects. However, please continue to leave feedback on this request, because this will be revisted as other projects are completed. Thanks for your understanding!
Right now multiple emails feels like an afterthought rather than a feature; right now the feature is misleading in that it doesn’t function with most default functionalities, like even showing up in a normal HubSpot search!
This is a huge problem for us. We want to move our old CRM to HubSpot, but can’t because we can’t work easily with contacts that have several emails. The other old one does…
Secondary emails have been a nightmare for me because there’s no way to audit/clean them up easily… I tried exporting/reimporting and it updated only 12 contacts out of over 270k…
We’re having a big issue with this - our product data lives in Airtable and so every time there is an additional email added, the record fails to sync into Hubspot. It would be great to be able to report or set up a notification system every time an additional email is added so that we can separate them out again (which is annoying in the first place, but I understand that that’s how Hubspot works and this is a consequence of our set up).
