Import Marketing Tasks

Hi lovely HubSpot team…

My ask:

I would like to be able to create a marketing task (with campaign, assignee, draft due date, task details, attach a video/image) > Export this to google docs/sheets with a “pending” status > Client approves content > Import the updated marketing taskimport from google doc/sheets with “approved” status and updated properties > convert the task into a social post draft.

My use case:

Marketing tasks are created to organize client activity > client approves content in a google doc > the content is added to HubSpot as a social post (or added to social as a newsletter/article).

Extra functionality needed:

  • Convert a marketing task to a social post, email newsletter, or social article or social newsletter.
  • Task status? (customizable list is ideal)
  • Custom color options for marketing campaigns?
  • More task types? (a customizable list would be ideal)
  • A calendar view (for marketing and sales tasks) that allows us to filter by any property.

Similarly, you could submit your own requests to the HubSpot Ideas section of the community. If you do, I highly recommend you break it into separate requests and features as it’s a lot more likely that users will find and upvote it. The product team will then review these request depending on how popular they are.
