I think one of the biggest starting points would come down to planning and not just pushing buttons, and sometimes understanding the system before really digging in. A perfect example was when I first brought HubSpot online I dug in before my initial call, and I created all the fields I thought we wanted from Salesforce. However, I didn’t realize the great Salesforce integration literally would create all those fields for me. Ended up with a bunch of duplicates to cleanup. That gets into were if you are going to dive right in make sure you know some of the ability and tricks to save time in setup.
