Hi @NNoveda best practices is quote a broad term, especially when it comes to such a big tool like HubSpot. This really does depend on your goals.

A few recomendations I’d advise doing to start out would be:

  • Clearly define your goals with HubSpot, what you plan to achieve and what you want to prioritise.
    • Break these down into tasks.
  • Map our your user journey, how you get leads into HubSpot and where they go while in HubSpot. This will help you know how you should build the CRM/automation tools to suit your business needs.
  • Migrate any content you wish to be hosted on HubSpot over, if you have an existing website you plan on keeping you should implement the HubSpot tracking code on it and replace any forms with HubSpot forms or integrate them into HubSpot forms.

There’s lots and lots that can/should be done but it really depends on your business and your specific needs. It’s impossible to provide much advice without consulting with your business really.

If you’re getting started though and want to learn more the HubSpot academy has a huge wealth of resources ranging from specific software courses to more abstract methodology courses! I’d definitely advise taking some of the courses there (they’re free!) to skill up and learn more!
