Right now Hubspot supports email templates which is great. However, if you are working in customer support, you need the same kind of formatting for every email, e.g. the ticket ID in the subject line of the ID and your own email signature.
So we have a template “ticket response”, but we need to select it 100eds of times per day. So it would be great if we could define a default template or a default email stlye for every conversations inbox.
I would like to have an email template auto-populate when responding to service tickets via email. I use snippets for the body of the paragraph but the template contains the greeting, sign-off, company logo, and ticket number.
I’m Vijay, the Product Manager for HubSpot’s Conversations Inbox tool. Thank you for taking the time to submit and upvote this idea. At this time there are no plans to work on this Idea as we are focused on building out the core functionality for Inbox. This is not to say that this idea will never be developed, just that there are no plans to do so at this time.
Email replies to tickets do not automatically pull in tokens documenting the ticket info for the client. Thus, enabling default email templates for pipelines would be a solution. Reducing the number of clicks needed to respond to a large number of tickets would help greatly.
Yes! This is a much-needed feature. My team is getting click fatigue as they write hundreds of emails each day in HubSpot. We even tried the Help Desk tool and there is no default template either.
What’s worse; in Help Desk, the existing templates do not populate the subject line, like it does in the Inbox. Plus customization and conditional logic are not available in the Help Desk, so I wholeheartedly feel some attention to Inbox and Tickets (CRM) is still needed.
The ability to focus on a team’s templates or your templates is not possible in Help Desk, so added effort to find the template you frequently use is cumbersome.
Not having this functionality is quite a pain with Help Desk having come from OTRS. People just forget to use snippets we have setup as an alternative.
