Hi All, In the Data Management> Manage Duplicates tool there is a new User Interface as of last week. Do people in the community find this to be an improvement? I appreciate that it will now let us compare more than two records at a time, but the new property comparison going horizontally instead of verticaally seems like a terrible UI direction for this tool. Not a fan. Would love others opinions!

Hi @GDuncomb-JNJ, Thanks for flagging this, being able to compare more than two records at once is a solid improvement, especially for cleaning up messy databases in bulk.
On the horizontal layout, agree it’s a mixed bag: vertical made it easier to scan one property straight down across records, while horizontal works better once you’re comparing 3+ records side by side but gets harder to scan on wider property lists (lots of left right eye movement).
Worth posting this as feedback in the HubSpot Ideas forum if you haven’t already, UI/UX layout complaints like this do get picked up and sometimes adjusted based on volume of feedback. Would also be curious whether others found a toggle or view option they’re missing that would fix it.
Hi @GDuncomb-JNJ 100% agree on the layout toggle idea comparing 3+ records at once is a huge win for bulk cleanup, but horizontal scrolling across 20+ custom properties gets exhausting fast on standard monitors.
Having a simple toggle between Vertical for deep property scans and horizontal for multi-record comparison would give us the best of both worlds.
@stassey I agree with OP. I absolutely hate this horizontal layout and it was much easier for me to use the vertical popup that allowed a side by side instead of top and bottom comparison of values.
Additionally, with the pop up, I was able to see a decent amount of properties without needing to even scroll down. With the horizontal view, I can only see 4 properties at a time before I need to scroll.
Also, my mouse has a built in scroll wheel that goes up and down, not one that goes left and right. Horizontal scrolling in web design is so confusing??
