My customers are complaining that they cannot upload multiple files and it is forcing me to downgrade my Hubspot (can’t use their forms now) and move to another provider.
Situation:
Step 1: I send a form asking for customer to upload various files.
Step 2: they navigate to the form and click to upload a file. They then upload the file.
Step 3: They then click the button again to upload from a different folder and instead of ADDING, it removes the previous upload and replaces it with the new file.
The only way they can get both files uploaded is if they have both highlighted when they do the upload. This is cumbersome and not intuitive. Any way to fix this? Very frustrating since using Hubspot forms was the reason we upgraded.
Thank you for the response. I use different custom attachment properties for each file upload item. Imagine a form that has the submitter uploading construction documents, receipts, closing document, receipts. Each one of those gets its own upload property.
But one upload item (receipts) may need multiple uploads. Making 20 receipts upload properties is not a solution.
They upload a file, then click open. Then try and upload from a different folder and it overwrites. The only way they can upload all of the files at the same time is to have all the files in one folder at one time, which is not a good UX.
All of this said I can see the value of improving the behavior of this upload field-- I encourage you to consider creating a post on our Ideas Forum here. If you find a similar idea, give it an upvote and share your unique use case in the comments. I will be sure to provide this feedback internally as well.
Let me know if I did not understand your questions or if you need additional clarification!
I will try adding a note, but given this was one of the main reasons we upgraded, we will likely need to find another provider since data intake is a major step in our customer experience and it needs to be solid.
The amount of clicks and time wasted waiting for the attachment to upload and then attach it is not efficient. I just want to attach a file in a sequence. No linking or fanciness needed.
