Calendar view functionality - Start date and End Date

This is a papercut issue:

To really maximise the use of Tickets for project management and to compete against some the of Project Management systems moving into the CRM space, I think it would be massively supportive to be able to have 2 date fields selected as a Start and End date for any record when viewing them under the relatively new Calendar View on any Object.

A good example is Tickets. You could have the option to amend custom properties on a Ticket for Start Date and End Date and then select them when viewing them under the Calendar View Option. This will then show the ticket spanning across several days, weeks or months and can provide perspective on expected work to be carried out and resource that will be in use during that time.
I believe this and other small changes can help keep HubSpot relevant in the PM world without the need for big investment to develop a robust PM tool within the HS Platform.

Seconded!

Our company uses a “Start Date” and “End Date” field on Deals, and it would be awesome if we could view deals in Calendar view and see them spanning across those dates, instead of having to pick one singular date entry and only seeing those Deals show up on that specified date. We use “Deals” for “Events,” and many events take place over several days. I love the idea of the calendar view, but without spanning, it’s not a practical view for us.

I support this feature idea. We are currently using custom objects to overlook the production of marketing materials not being inside of hubspot (print, banner etc.). This means there are marketing materials with one certain date (e.g. messenger-posts > current calendar view is sufficient) and with a span of days/weeks (e.g. banner ads).
