I am trying to set up an automated birthday email workflow and it keeps running people through the workflow and ignoring the date birthday property. The contact instantly completes the workflow
Hi @Huntscape-Ops,
Can you please share a screenshot of the full enrollment criteria?
Could you confirm the exact behavior you’re experiencing, HubSpot enrolls all of the contacts in your CRM and executes the workflow for all of them? Could you share also screenshots of a contact with a birthday that is not eligible (showing the date) and their action log in the workflow? Understand your workflow details page
Best regards
The behavior is that the contact I am testing enrolls and continues through
the full workflow. There is no delay until 15 days prior to the birthday.

Here is the contact that I am using to test and completes the workflow
immediately

Here are the action logs

@Huntscape-Ops I’m not seeing images, just file names. Can you please try again and upload directly in the community reply editor?
@Huntscape-Ops manual enrollment bypasses enrollment criteria, that’s why this contact enrolled.
Revisiting this question. I have been experiencing issues with using birthdate as a trigger since the year is in the past. For the birthday workflow in our previous messages uses birthday date does it ignore the year?
@Huntscape-Ops if you’re using the testing feature, then this might not work reliably for date-centered workflows.
Instead, limit your enrollment criteria to “AND Email is any of [your email]”, turn it on, and you’ll likely see that you won’t enroll.
Best regards
