[Not solved] How to automate birthday emails based on a past Date of Birth property in HubSpot?

Hi everyone,

The proposed answer was marked as “solution” quite quickly, before I had the chance to properly validate if it was working under real conditions.

After carefully following all the recommended steps, I can confirm that the suggested method does not work: the workflow does not trigger automatically on the birthday date, even with the correct setup.

If anyone has a concrete, working example or a proven method using only HubSpot native tools in 2025, I would really appreciate it!

The proposed solution should work - I’m sorry it isn’t on your end. At this point, it would be best to reach out to HubSpot support directly in-app, via chat or email, so they can check what exactly is going on.
