I have an API (home grown) that sends SMS and Whatsapp messages to users.
I want to integrate my API with Hubspot to reach Hubspot audience.
I’ve been trying to find documentations that would help me find the steps to perform this integration but I’ve not been able to find any doc. Could someone please help me with the steps?

These are the general steps to follow
Create a HubSpot account and enable the SMS and WhatsApp integrations.
Create a new contact or lead in HubSpot.
Get the contact or lead’s ID.
Use your API to send an SMS or WhatsApp message to the contact or lead’s ID.
To create a HubSpot account, go to hubspot.com: https://hubspot.com/ and click on the Sign Up button. You can create a free account or a paid account.
To enable the SMS and WhatsApp integrations, go to Settings > Integrations > API. Click on the Enable button next to SMS and WhatsApp. To create a new contact or lead in HubSpot, go to Contacts > All Contacts. Click on the Create Contact button. Enter the contact or lead’s information, including their name, email address, and phone number. To get the contact or lead’s ID, go to the contact or lead’s record in HubSpot. The ID will be displayed in the ID field.
To use your API to send an SMS or WhatsApp message to the contact or lead’s ID, you will need to use the appropriate API endpoint. For example, to send an SMS message, you would use the following endpoint
https://api.hubspot.com/contacts/v1/contact/<contact_id>/messages/sms
The <contact_id> parameter is the ID of the contact or lead you are sending the message to.
The body of the message is a JSON object that contains the following properties:
text (required): The text of the message.
from (optional): The sender’s name or phone number.
to (optional): The recipient’s phone number.
For example, the following JSON object would send an SMS message with the text “Hello, this is a test message” to the contact with the ID 1234567890

Once you have sent the message, you can check the Communications tab in the contact or lead’s record to see the status of the message.
