WhatsApp Integration

Hi community!
We are searching for a WhatsApp integration with Hubspot. We were taking a look at WhatsHub but it seems it only allows one computer/user to be concurrently connected to a phone device/number. What we would really need is to have only one business account/number and for different agents to use the same business account to speak with several users, and have everything stored in our contact record in HubSpot. Do you know which Whatsapp integration could work taking that into account?

Thanks!

Hi @DMollard

Truora recently launched a free app on Hubspot Marketplace called Tru Whatsapp that allows you to manage your HubSpot contacts from Whatsapp. Give it a try!

This company also offer an integration with Whatsapp that can solve your main problem.

In Truora we developed a chrome extension (already listed in HubSpots’ marketplace) that allows you to create contacts and other features from WhatsApp: link

Could you please try it and give me some feedback?

Hi @DMollard, Based on your requirement One account and multiple users, you could check out the HubSpot Certified - Whatsapp Automation - HubSpot Marketplace

You can connect upto 5 users in one account - and also get a free trial for 7 days. Give it a shot, and let me know if you need anything.

Thank you

Hello,

Just to let you know that HubSpot has released native integration with WhatsApp business, now you can use it in the conversational inbox and even create a WhatsApp chatbot using workflows and approved templates.

Go to inbox settings and connect to a new channel.

You can then receive and send messages from a shared inbox.

Use it in Workflow as well.

Thanks for sharing this exciting update, @AliAnsari!

Just a heads up for anyone thinking of connecting their WhatsApp for Business account to HubSpot. If you do this, you will lose all WhatsApp voice communications. Even though your customers were able to call the number before the integration, after the integration, they can’t.
HubSpot does a p*ss poor job of mentioning this, but apparently, it is a limitation of the WhatsApp Cloud API.

Hi @Billseng,

I apologize for any data and business impact this has caused. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I can see that my colleague worked with you on this post to identify that this is currently out of HubSpot’s scope.

I will also pass this feedback along to the product team as they continue to develop this beta.

Best,

Kristen

I NOW understand that this is an issue with WhatsApp’s Cloud API. However,
that information was only revealed after I did the integration.
If WhatsApp isn’t telling people this on their site, please do your
customers a favor by making this 10000% clear on your end.

Hi @DMollard !

Truora recently launched a WhatsApp and HubSpot integration that allows you to:

* Create conversational flows to personalize your interactions with your WhatsApp users, without additional development.

* Initiate WhatsApp conversations from HubSpot (sending outbound messages).

* Create properties in HubSpot based on the information you collect from WhatsApp conversations with customers.

* Redirect users who interact with your WhatsApp chatbot to the HubSpot inbox to continue the conversation with an agent from the CRM.

Hi @ManuelaPeña

Does your integration work with whatsapp application on desktop ? I’d like to consign messages and calls into hubspot.

thank you in advance !

Hi @SOuazana !

Our integration works with the WhatsApp API, which is different from WhatsApp Business lines. However, if you are interested in creating HubSpot contacts from your WhatsApp conversations and transferring and saving WhatsApp conversations as Notes in HubSpot, you may be interested in another Truora product, TruConversations. You can find this product in the HubSpot marketplace: HubSpot Marketplace

This is a Google Chrome plug in for you to use in the Whatsapp Web app.
