Please I need help here, my website not accessible by everyone else except the same IP which I used in creating it. I have done everything including updating my DNS records according to the guidelines. Though I am new when it comes to this area of tech. Whenever people try to access www.fullifetech.com, it either says " site can not be reached" or “takes too long” (I have one screenshot attached here). This is going for a week and it’s telling on the credibility of my business. Please help from anyone would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi @FTechnologies — thank you for reaching out and for clearly describing the issue.
I’d like to invite some community subject matter experts to join the discussion and share guidance on domain configuration, DNS, and global site accessibility.
@Humashankar @JTolley @SteveHTM — would you be able to provide any insights into scenarios where a website is accessible from the creator’s IP but not globally? Any common causes or checks (DNS records, propagation, SSL, hosting configuration, IP restrictions) would be very helpful here.
Thank you in advance for your support and expertise.
Best, Victor
@FTechnologies - Just FYI, The navbar and some content renders (very slowly) on my access to this site.
Can you offer any summary of how you have configured your DNS settings and HubSpot website content?
In particular the relationinship between the subdomain www.fullifetech.com and the ‘brand domain’ fullitech.com? Also whether HubSpot can read and verify the settings of your DNS as you connect the subdomains?
Steve
Hi @FTechnologies ,
That’s really frustrating, especially when it’s been a week and affecting how people perceive your business. The fact that it works from your IP but not others is a classic sign of either incomplete DNS propagation or a misconfigured domain connection in HubSpot.
First thing I’d check is whether your domain is fully verified inside HubSpot. Go to Settings > Content > Domains & URLs and look for any warnings or errors next to your domain. HubSpot should show a green checkmark if everything is connected properly. If it’s showing as “not connected” or stuck on verification, the CNAME records might not be pointing to the right place. The www subdomain typically needs a CNAME pointing to the HubSpot value they give you, something like [your portal ID].group[XX].sites.hubspot.net (Connect a domain to HubSpot )
Another thing worth checking is SSL. HubSpot provisions SSL automatically but sometimes it gets stuck if DNS wasn’t fully propagated when you first connected. You can try disconnecting and reconnecting the domain in HubSpot to force it to re provision the certificate. Also, run your domain through a tool like whatsmydns.net to see if DNS has actually propagated globally or if some regions still cant resolve it. At Stacksync we mostly deal with CRM data issues but I’ve bumped into plenty of these DNS headaches while helping customers set up their HubSpot environments. Hope you get it sorted soon!
