hello, i purchased a domain from godaddy a few days ago, i broke it and phoned godaddy who altered settings and now its working again, only problem is the hubspot logo opens a menu of options to edit page etc and if clicked opens my hubspot accountn editor. I recently (2 hours ago) auto updated my dns nameserves with godaddy through hubspot and im waiting for the changes to take effect, will this fix the issue?
Hi @TSiddle,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community!
I understand that you connected your domain to HubSpot and therefore you updated your DNS records in your DNS provider.
After you’ve connected your domain, it can take up to 24 hours for the DNS changes to propagate and reflect in HubSpot.
If your domain isn’t connecting as expected after 24 hours, follow the steps in this article to troubleshoot your domain.
I also wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: Hi @Josh, @Jnix284 and @jonchim do you have suggestions to help @TSiddle, please?
Also, if anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation ![]()
Thank you and have a wonderful day!
Best,

yes thankyou, Tom.
thanks for your reply, Tom.
Hi @TSiddle
The HubSpot icon and link back to your account is only visible to you because you are a HubSpot user.
This is expected behaviour for content hosted on HubSpot when access by people who are HubSpot users.

I recently tried looking at my site from a different profile and found this out, thanks for your reply, Tom
I hope this message finds you well. I am encountering significant difficulties every time I try to connect our website with the DNS settings provided by HubSpot. Instead of loading correctly, the homepage either displays a mockup from HubSpot or, worse, an error message appears.
I urgently need to establish this connection to distribute the newsletter we discussed. I reached out to GoDaddy yesterday for assistance. They attempted to resolve the issue by setting up an A record and a CNAME, but unfortunately, the problem persists, and the system continues to malfunction.
Could you please help me address this issue at your earliest convenience? Your support in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.
@RpaCanada a few questions to clarify your configuration so we can best help:
1 - where is your website hosted/built? HubSpot CMS? WordPress? other?
2 - In HubSpot, did you configure the email sending domain? or primary domain?
3 - what is your HubSpot Subscription (Free, Starter, Pro, Enterprise)?
