Webhook API

Hello all,

I am quitely new with Webhook API. If many users use my application, I would like to know :

- Does webhook contain all events relating to one client or multiple clients ?

- Is a webhook sent immediately when user modifies a contact ? Or Hubspot waits a little bit to group several events to send at once ? For ex: if a user creates a new contact and saves it. 2 min after, he decides to modify a property of this contact. Will we get 2 webhooks for 2 distinguish events creation & modification or just 1 webhook for these 2 events ?

Thank in advance for your helps.

Regards,

NT

Hi @uthanos

A webhook will contain an array of objects that could be from multiple clients. each object will contain the portalID from where the event source occurred as well as the appID of your app that requested it in case you have multiple apps as well as other values. There will be a maximum of 100 in a request.

A webhook is not sent immediately necessarily. If you are receiving many notifications concurrently, they will be batched. An example would be if a portal imports a large number of contacts. You would receive these in batches.

All of this and more detail are at the lower part of this page

Good luck out there!
