Trigger a Workflow based on created by API

Is there a way to trigger a Workflow based on how a Contact was created?

e.g. We are using the Contact API to create a Contact record from an outside source. This Activity/Engagement gets created.

How can I use this to trigger a another Workflow in HubSpot?

The information reflected in that timeline entry is stored in the contact’s original source drilldown properties, which you can use to trigger workflows: Understand ‘Original source drill-down’ properties
