Wondering how to initiate an event triggered email funnel using hubspot triggered by an account creation? We want to create a “welcome email workflow campaign”. Our app is already integrated with HS, and I need to initiate a funnel “welcome” campaign when new email addresses are added to our user records.

If your “…app is already integrated with HS…” and is triggering contact creation in HS, you can use the HubSpot Original Source and Drill-Down properties to identify which new HS contacts are from your app. Once identified, a standard smart list and welcome email workflow will suffice.

In the case of a custom integration, those properties MAY be populated as follows which will allow you to identify them in a smart list.
