Ticket import does not include comment history

Hello all!

I am transitioning from using Asana to HubSpot. Our former Asana Cards are now HubSpot Tickets. I am able to import the Ticket title and description, but have not found a way to import Ticket Notes.

Ticket notes would essentially be the teams comments back and forth as they work through an issue. Example:

- Ticket name: Pixel Bug
- Ticket description: The FB Pixel for Brand X is failing, here are the credentials, please take a deeper look.

- Ticket notes:

- Jack: I cannot see the credentials, can you relink?

- Joy: Sorry, here is the new link: xxxx
- Jack: Thanks, I was able to log in. Next steps are: …

Does anybody know how I can bulk-import that?

Hi @SImmel,

Tickets and notes would have to be imported as multiple objects with associations. This process is explained here: Import records for multiple objects

You can find a sample import file here for reference: Format import files

Keep in mind that rerunning an earlier import of tickets, now with notes, might create duplicates – unless your import file includes the Record ID of the already imported tickets and unless this ID is correctly mapped during the import process.
