It would be extremely useful if there was the ability to create conditional ticket stage properties.
I love the fact you can set the current properties up, so if Pipeline is X and Status is Y, properties A,B need to be completed.
But to avoid many pipelines, there are certain properties that are only relevant in scenarios.
If I could use ticket properties to create conditionl logic on the ticket stages, it would be a great help.
For example, if ticket property category = cancel order, when the stage is set to closed, it forces the user to enter the supplier cancellation number.
+1 to this. If I am understanding this right, I am also facing this issue.
When closing a ticket, I would like our support members to have to select a “category” and then if category = customer issue, I would like further properties to be filled in “issue category” and “issue sub-category”.
We have the same challenge as @JTree. @PGraves, from my understanding you’re not quite facing the same challenge and the good news is that there’s already a solution for what your are looking to acheive.
This is where you’ll set when the category = customer issue, show issue-category and sub-category. You can even set another condition if you prefer to only show the sub-category based on certain issus-category.
