Task Completed Notification

I’d like to be able to send a notification when a task is complete.

Which HubSpot subscription are you on?

As far as I know, this is possible when tasks are created within workflows. (This allows for a check whether the task has been completed. If so, a notification can be sent.)

Outside of workflows or in free and Starter subscriptions, this cannot be done.

Could you elaborate a bit more on why you would like to receive a task completion notification? Maybe there’s a workaround.

Thanks for your help and input.

I have Marketing Hub Professional, Sales Hub Professional, CMS Hub Professional.

I have a user that would like to create tasks for her boss and then be notified when he completes them.

We did end up creating a Deal-based workflow to accomplish this. When creating the task, a deal must be associated and then things seem to be working as expected. If the task is completed, an email is sent to my user notifying her.

How did you manage to get the notification, @ADuncza? I have made a workflow creating tasks, but there is no option to get notified when completed…
