Hi everyone,
Can someone tell me what it means that “a lead is associated”?
I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere and don’t really understand it myself.
Thanks and have a great day!
Hi @KChristiansen,
Leads in this context here are referring to a recently introduced object in the prospecting workspace: Manage leads
If you’re not working with these leads yet, the toggle doesn’t have any effect.
Best regards!
Hey @KChristiansen
as Karsten said
this toggle means that when a contact has a LEAD associated (New object for prospecting)
the lifecycle stage will be set to…X.
Be carefull with this in the cases were the Contact is already a Customer
but is inquiring for a new service/product/business unit (no reasone to change customer at a Contact level)
Hope this helps
It seems like you’re discussing a feature or configuration related to managing lifecycle stages in a CRM system like Salesforce. The toggle mentioned likely controls the automatic assignment of a lifecycle stage based on the presence of a lead associated with a contact. It’s important to consider cases where a contact is already a customer but may be inquiring about additional services or products. Customizing this behavior can ensure accurate tracking of customer interactions.
