Most of the times prospects could not be contacted in first attempt and they require more than 3-4 attempts to connect. However, we need to know if our team is making those attempts and hence we ask them to log all call attempts whether they are successful or not.
However the assigned tasks get auto completed even if the user logs a call where prospects could not be reached and requires further attempt.
Creating a followup tasks also does not help as it is very difficult to back track all followup tasks to find the original tasks and consumes loads of our time.
IDEA: Task completion should be kept independent and only when user marks it complete its status should change. Task status should be independent of any call/meeting logs or even notes addition
