SPF record not authenticating on Hubspot

Hi all, I have already changed the DNS system with the HubSpot SPF record. DMRC and DKIM is all fine. I added both email provider and HubSpot SPF record together on TXT. it worked for a while but now HubSpot is stating SPF is not verified. Anyone else experiencing this on HubSpot SPF authentication?

Hi @HRana7 I suggest running a test with https://www.learndmarc.com/ where you can send a test email directly from HubSpot and see the results in real-time.

This will help you fix your SPF record (update or remove) depending on how it should be configured.

While HubSpot recommends adding the SPF record, it’s ok if you complete the testing and determine you don’t need one.

Hi , thank you for your suggestions . I will definitly look for future issues. The issue been fixed, it was due to a space in the code.

Thank you all again !

You’re welcome @HRana7, glad you could find the issue with the record configuration.

We have the same issue here. All the settings are correct and Hubspot says it can’t be verified.

@Asiegle do you have more than one SPF record in your DNS? There can only be one or it won’t verify - but also if you have combined more than one, and it isn’t an exact match for their suggestion, it might not verify even if what you’ve configured is correct.

The verification for SPF won’t hurt anything - HubSpot is sending the email with an SPF record in the sending envelope already because of how/where the emails are actually coming from. You really only need DMARC/DKIM verified.

I would definitly check the coding as there could be code, letter or space missing . (this is how I resolved my issue and also check the DNS lines)

I copied/pasted them and checked for a random space too.
I upgraded to marketing starter for this account specifically so I could do
this - and prior to this I did not have it set up this way and email was
working fine!

@Asiegle can you share the value for your SPF record?
