Hello, I would like to change the integration with Salesforce so that contacts created in Salesforce are not created in HubSpot. However, I would like updates in Salesforce to still update existing contacts in HubSpot.

(This is so using the Salesforce email extension would not create a new contact in HubSpot. We find that this is often not needed when people get cc’d into email chains and just mucks up our HubSpot database.)

@AMiriani the best way to accomplish this would be to implement Selective Sync in Salesforce that hides leads/contacts created from this specific source from HubSpot. You can do this using a combination of roles & organization sharing rules to block certain records from being visible to HubSpot.

As a standard feature, you cannot yet separate ‘create and update’ and either need one or the other.
