How to set up uni-directional Sync for contacts from Salesforce to Hubspot

We are using the Salesforce/Hubspot integration but we are running into a problem :

What we want to do is to automatically sync contacts created and updated in Salesforce to Hubspot. However, we do not want Hubspot to create or update contacts in Salesforce. In the integration settings we have the option to “Do nothing” if a contact is created or updated in Salesforce but this option does not exist if the contact is created or updated in Hubspot.

How can we achieve this and make sure that only Salesforce is used to update Hubspot and not the opposite ?

The Knowledge Base article about managing Salesforce integration sync settings does not note any ability to prevent updates in Salesforce from HubSpot, but maybe some of our Salesforce experts have any workaround suggestions…
