Required fields and warnings

Hi there I am trying to publish an email with some updates I have made on it and keep getting a

Required fields and warnings

for missing links that in fact part of the email. This is also on an email that has been published and sent prior with no issues.
I believe it is an error on Hubspot end, but I also am not able to create or publish any new emails without getting this error.

When reaching out to HS support, I was just told they would have to escalate the issue, but has anyone found a way around this or how to fix it?

Hi @DLopez333 !

Could you please share an screenshot of your email, specifically email footer so I can have a better view where all these errors come from.

I’m happy to jump on a call to further assist!

Hi @DLopez333,

For the first warning, it looks like you have accidentally removed the footer. The footer element contains specific company tokens (with your company address) and also email tokens (for managing preferences and unsubscribing). Even if you have added a text module with your company address, HubSpot requires there to be the tokens:

If you have definitely added this to the email, please make sure of the following things:

  • If your email is set up as A/B test, it must be set up like above in both versions.
  • If you have adjusted the email plain text and potentially removed this part, reset the plain text. The information must be present there as well, with the tokens: Customize plain text emails

Should none of the above fix the issue, you can do the following:

  1. Create a new email and start from scratch, hoping that it will not occur again.
  2. Wait for HubSpot support to address the issue.

Best regards!

Thank you so much for the detailed suggestions, I should have stated what I had already tried here.
But yes we have double checked and said links and tokens are in fact part of the email. I believe this is a bigger issues, as we also have tried multiple times to create a new email for this email and just a new email to see if we are able to publish, and we are not. Not for old, new, not created, created emails, we are gettting the same error.
